Im not sure whats going on here, but for some reason my pancam keeps destroying my 32gb sandisk microSD cards. I’ve replaced it 3 times already!
Ive set the camera to continuously record, just like my 3 normal v2 cameras, but the pancam is the only one that seems to keep destroying its SD card. After a couple weeks it just goes to 0mb on the app, and when I take it out, I cant access it through a reader anymore either.
Surely this cant be normal… Any staff able to explain this?

You don’t say what type of cards you have been using, but here is some info on card selection.

It is very possible that your card is developing read/write problems. There is a lot of info on continuous recording that video cards like the ones in our cams are subjected to. Standard data cards are not designed for it and develop problems, and the cards sold by Wyze aren’t High Endurance cards. I switched several of my cams months age and a number of oddball problems went away. In regard to formatting the cards, best practice is to format the card in a laptop device using the program below and the Full or Deep option which will overwrite/repair any bad tracks which the camera option will not. If you have a computer, Rufus is a piece of software that I have used MANY times to fix SD or MicroSD cards (logically), and I would recommend it.
I don’t think card type is relevant, since im using identical ones in all three of my V2 cams, and they have been continuously recording without fault during the entire period that this pancam has eaten 2 of its cards. So these sandisk cards are certainly capable of it.
I also dont think its just a corrupt partition table, since then even the standard windows formatter would be able to salvage the card.
If I had to guess, I suspect the pancam firmware has a write loop bug in its code that is continuously bashing a specific cell on the card, causing it to wear out fast.
