Pan cam acting up (spins) and then emits loud white noise at 5:30am

My Pan cam is in panning mode at 4 stops.
So it usually goes about and scans those 4 points, and that’s it.

Yesterday however, I noticed (and heard it) go a few times (at least 10, but god knows how many) full speed go full right, then full left, and then the “click” is heard (not sure if reboot or just the LEDs)
Shortly after the “spins” it would resume panning and scanning the 4 usual points.

Then at precisly 5:30am EST this morning, it started to emit a very loud SHShHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. As loud as the speaker can produce imo, and didn’t seem like some regular background noise but really random white noise. Needless to say I hurried to unplug it not to wake the house; but I regret not taking a look at the app first.

What’s up with that ?

Could be the camera going bad I suppose.
