Does the outdoor cam motion detection actually capture the motion event or does recording not start until after motion is detected? If the latter, the camera will be fairly useless.
My Wyze V2 indoor camera records continuously and if any motion is detected during a minute of recording then that video is saved, otherwise it is deleted. This is great for seeing what caused the camera to trigger.
My Blink outdoor camera, however, doesn’t start recording until a few seconds after motion is detected. This is worthless since on many occasions someone has put something on (or removed something from) my front steps and the Blink recording gives not indication of who it was.
