I got my outdoor cam 8/13. The battery was 100% dead. I charged the battery, i didn’t mount it outside yet, and it drained to 5% in less than 16 hours. 8/14 What gives?
@lenunez03 Welcome to the Wyze community! That doesn’t sound good. My cam had a 45% charge when I received it. I recommend calling customer service.

Got my camera 2 days ago. Set it up and charged it to 100%. 24 hours later it was at 2%, now dead. Faulty?
I’m curious if everyone initially charged the batteries using the provided cable and the base station. I think I saw something in the package last week that indicated the provided cable was 2amp. Just wondering if an older smartphone micro USB cable was instead used to charge them, and if that causes problems.
Same prob. I have 2 outside cams 1 works great the other dies in 24 hours. I used the plug that cam with the cam to charge.
