Just a suggestion for maybe a rare reason.
It’s great to have a detection zone but the funny thing is I would find it more useful to set a non-detection zone. I have the camera on my porch and carport and whenever a car or person goes by the sensor sends an alert. If I could set a portion of the screen to non-detection that wouldn’t happen. No matter how I position the detection zone I end up eliminating an area I want to monitor.
I like this idea, and would probably use this feature.
Yes please! Same thing happens when an indoor camera is pointed at a back wall and a TV in the corner keeps setting off motion detection. But in trying to create a detection zone, it always removes certain areas I’d like to still monitor. But putting a “no-detection zone” box around the TV area would definitely solve this! Maybe in the detection zone settings, having a slider-button to change the box from the standard “detection zone” to a “no-detection zone” would help…
