Are you still having the battery drain issue? I haven’t had it in awhile now. At least excessive discharge like before.
I am still observing a faster discharge if in the cold…
It’s been a couple of weeks since my last charge and the WCO that’s indoors is at 92% the one that’s been outside in the cold, ice, and rain is at 82%.
I think it is getting worse. I was burning 4% daily as an average. Seems that like a gas guage on a vehicle… takes 2 weeks to reach 50% then is below 20% a week later. Many 3-4 % days, a few at 6%, one was 10% .
Temperatures are better now. Both cams were just hitting 70% after 1 full week (this Monday).
Your indoor experiment is similar to mine. Warm temperatures with little to no motion is what these were designed for. They were not designed as reliable outside cameras to monitor an area with consistent activity.
My WCO’s see very little action as well. My one WCO is on a side of the house where there is very little activity (and tough to get power to) and the other in the basement . So yea, less consumption.
I’d like to know why the outdoor cams have no “restart” like my V2’s?
