Running AOSP ROM without google services, so not getting notifications. Some apps (eg.Signal) have messenger workarounds built using websockets, despite the additional battery efficiency loss, but cloud messaging works. Is there a hope for Wyze to include a backup websockets messenger implementation? I think it would be prudent as more users eschew FAANG going forward. Cheers!
We’ll keep watching this topic but it probably won’t happen because of how we’ve designed things so far.
