I had a event recorded at 8:11 pm and I didn’t get a notification till 8:44pm. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

For about one year my notifications on Cam-V3 worked fine on Android. From today afternoon it suddently stopped working. Tried all checks on phone settings/notifications and Cam V3 Push-notification settings. I have the latest version 220.127.116.11 and it says my cam-V3 is up-to-date.

What are your recommendations for cameras that can notify you in near real time? There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot published on the subject. I’m very pleased with Wyze Alexa announcements but, like the notifications, they typically take around 30 seconds to arrive. This makes it completely impossible to use for a “person approaches the front door” situation.

Is anyone else not getting all their notifications? Today I had 9 AI “Person” videos in the Events tab that pushed full length video to the cloud, but I only received 1 notification for 1 of the video’s. Seriously guys. Come on!!! It’s been 3 months. No notifications! I’m a part of 3 different threads and just got an email that there are many more on Fix It Friday. Can we please stop making new threads about this issue and just fix the damn problem!!! We all have so much more important things to do than to sit there daily uploading logs and wasting hours on these threads.!!!7

My notifications come 30+ seconds late and I’m wondering if this is normal. Currently have 2 cams experiencing the same issue. I’m on the “lite” plan so unsure if this is a result of that?
I do recall getting instant notifications in January when I first got the cams, but it’s since deteriorated without changing any settings.
I have an iphone that i use to view the live stream and also any playback.
I intentionally walked by the camera and noticed it took at least 10 seconds for my phone to give me a notification. This is after i opened up the wyze app from my iphone. I also put a passcode on my iphone like most people. I also have notifications set on. So these notifications are not instant? So there is always like at least a 10 second lag at least? Thus someone walks by, i don’t get notification immediately?…
I have my cameras set to reboot themselves nightly. That seems to help a little bit.
I noticed some smartphones power management can delay notifications also, recently switched from a One Plus 7t pro to a Google Pixel 6 Pro and the notifications are much faster on the Pixel.
Swapped SIM back to OnePlus to confirm and found that the notifications are delayed compared to the Pixel 6 pro
Lot of threads on that. There are at least two different sets of per app battery optimization settings that it can help to disable.
One made all the difference in the world for me to be able to get consistent location tracking.
I am also having delayed notifications anywhere from 2 or 3 minutes up to 30 minutes. This didn’t start until the last flurry of firmware updates for me. I am using an iphone, so it’s not just android users having this issue.

Core - No notifications when Cam Plus is enabled
While it seems like the recent firmware updates helped with this, we’re now at the point of needing to assess our notification design for moving forward. At this point, the majority of these cases are because someone turned off notifications for all other motion but the AI trigger didn’t happen within the 6-second (chosen for speed of notification) window. Cam Plus Events can be up to 5-minute segments and that would be a lot of time to wait for a notification that you want to act on. We’re looking at different methods for improving the notification experience and are having conversations internally about direction.
The firmware updates don’t appear to have helped mine at all. I am completely up to date. I just got a notification from when I took out the trash 1 HOUR and 6 minutes ago. These cameras worked good when I initially put them up around September of last year. Actually it might have been when I signed up for CAM Plus that things changed.

I understand your frustration. I have been thru the exact same service degradation as many here in the forum over the last 6 months +. FW updates don’t help, AI updates made it worse. Cloud updates with CPL made it worse.
We are all paying for a service that we are not getting. Person Detection Notifications are a critical component in the home security cam system. Wyze has rendered both their AI accuracy and notification thereof unreliable. Worse yet, they don’t seem to have any concern as they have not addressed this issue to their customers or given any indication that it is a priority.
