One of my Wyzecams will periodically lose its connection to the internet while all the others are fine. I would like to set up an IFTTT protocol the would ping the camera on a frequent basis and if it is down I would get a notification and then I could reset it. I cannot find any way on IFTTT to ping an IP address. Anyone know how to do this or another simple way to check the status of a wyzecam

Your Wyze camera is pingable, but only inside your home network. IFTTT would not be able to help with that.
You could cobble something together and leave it running continuously on your home computer. The right MS DOS command script could probably do it.
You would also have to find a smart socket that you could turn on and off programmatically to cycle the power of the camera.
