Micro SD card not recognized

I have two Wyze cam V3 and both do not recognize the microSD card ? Something I’m doing wrong? I know the install only one way

Hi @tomgisbc The card has to be format FAT32 which takes some doing if it is over 32Gb in capacity. There are several discussions how to perform on larger cards but is best to use Enduarnce rated cards.

  • Preferable to use High Endurance cards in your device.

    file system drives and partitions and avoid potential performance
    issues in the future using this application.

@tomgisbc FYI: Wyze Cam v3 Firmware 4.36.0.228 Released - 12/28/20

We just released Wyze Cam v3 firmware version 4.36.0.228! This update improves local storage stability, fixes a connectivity bug that caused streams to get stuck at step 3/3, and fixes a bug that caused a yellow spot in the video.
