Yes. Technically speaking, a meteor. A meteorite is what is found on the ground after a meteor lands.
Yep, looks like one to me.
Definitely some fast moving object burning up in the upper atmosphere. More likely from space than man made space junk.
With the number of cameras recording all the time, we now have much more knowledge of events than we used to. Most of the footage of the 15 Feb 2013 “Russian” Meteor were caught by dash cams.
