Current situation
Wyze Watch 47c has a workout mode with buttons to stop/pause, but it’s easy to accidently pause the workout without realizing it. Until user selects resume or stop, the watch will stop collecting data, so the user may later feel sad regret.
Solutions in other systems
In the Polar Beat workout tracking app for Android, the user must drag the pause button to activate it. (Simply pressing the button on accident won’t pause the workout.)
Proposed solution
Wyze Watch requires more intentional user interaction before pausing the collection of data during a workout.
