It is not clear to me from your posts what makes you think someone is actually accessing your cameras vs simply threatening you.

The only way to tell what devices have accessed your account is to contact Wyze Support (https://support.wyzecam.com/hc/en-us). You can check which devices have accessed your forum account in the forum Preferences section, but that is only for the forum, not your overall Wyze account.

However, you should go to the Wyze website My Account page (https://www.wyzecam.com/my-account/) and change your password under the Account Details tab. Change it to a strong password of at least 8 characters using upper and lower case letters, numbers and at least one symbol. Make it a password that you have not used anywhere else.

After doing this, log into the Wyze app on your phone and follow these steps for each camera:

  1. Go to the live stream of the camera
  2. Tap the gear icon
  3. Tap Delete Device
  4. Set up the device again as if were new.

If this doesn’t solve your issue, you will need to contact Wyze Support, https://support.wyzecam.com/hc/en-us (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

I hope you have contacted both your local police department and the FBI.

Where are you seeing that?

That is JSON, is someone sending it to you? Looks like packet capture.

Really hard to understand what you are saying, but, if someone has monitoring software on one (all?) of your devices, then that is how they are getting your passwords, so changing them on Wyze site won’t fix it.

You need a clean device (Buy a new cheap phone for now!), and use that to change all passwords from every single account you have. If they also have control of your router, factory reset it, and set up a strong password that you haven’t used before.

The simple fix here is unplug the cams until you plug the leaks, and it might be a good idea not to point these things in areas you want private.

The FBI won’t get involved unless it was a minor, then that would be considered child porn. You also say they came in and took your microSD cards, so, that is breaking & entering, and you should at least have some clips in the cloud?
This is a matter for the local cops most likely.

If any of that actually happened… you need to call the police but this all seems very nonsensical and I question the authenticity of any of it.

Just as a heads up, I’m looking into this internally. We’re not ignoring this! I’m just making sure I have facts straight before saying anything.

As a general rule, we don’t disclose information that could be used to identify other people to community members in case of scams. If you report this to the police, the police are welcome to contact us about this.

But in the meantime, I’m going to see what I can learn from my end.

@Taterman203, we have confirmed that the blocks of words and numbers are connection logs that look like what we would expect from an app log. It also sounds like you have some very real security issues going on and we strongly recommend that you go to the police.

I know that these things have already been recommended, but we agree that these steps are important.

  1. You should get a new phone. If your current phone was hacked in a way to enable screen recording then new passwords could be stolen.
  2. Use another Wyze account to connect to your cameras and use a different password for it.
  3. Change your WiFi password on his router
  4. Re-setup your devices on your new account.
  5. And you should change the login information for your other accounts, too.

We hope that this gets resolved soon. This sounds incredibly stressful. We have left this forum topic unlisted because of the sensitive information that you included here.
