Hello, the Wyze Cam Pan has the 180-degree screen rotation option like the Wyze Cam. The base is not magnetic, instead the base of the Wyze Cam Pan has a screw hole that accepts most tripod mount screws (1/4-20).
Hello, the Wyze Cam v2 and Wyze Cam Pan are useful in different ways, but if you’d prefer to return your Wyze Cam v2 and get a Wyze Cam Pan instead our customer support team would be happy to help you with that. Send them an email at support@wyzecam.com and they can help you out.
The Wyze Cam Pan will be available on Amazon in the future, but it’s not on Amazon yet (we’re in the process of setting it up right now). It will likely be a couple of weeks until Amazon has it in stock.
The camera uses changes in the pixels of the image to sense motion, so there’s not a specific distance for the maximum distance that the camera can detect. If motion happens in the camera’s field of view, if it’s viewable in the image, the camera should detect it.
Yup! We don’t do that ‘radio style’ 2 way speaker like what was on the v1 and v2. Now you can actively talk through the Wyze Cam Pan and hear at the same time.
