Introducing Forum Mavens

Hi, everyone!

I’m super excited to introduce a new program for the forum. We’re adding in a new group of people known as Forum Mavens. They will help us get more eyes into different areas of the forum, get responses to people more quickly, and help us maintain the growing, kind community that we love. These are volunteer people who will be answering questions but will NOT be stepping in for moderation.

Let’s give a warm welcome to our first Mavens:

@Bam
@Newshound
@cheaplikeafox
@kenner
@tomp

Thanks for joining the team, folks!

Best,

Gwendolyn

Don’t worry, it’s not the first time we tried to get HDRock to join the team. They’ll let us know if they ever change their mind. :slight_smile:

Congrats all!

I had to look up the word Maven … and found that:

Coming from the Hebrew word Hebrew מבֿין (mevin), maven can have two definitions. In common contexts means “expert” as in language maven William Safire. However, in sarcastic settings, it is used as “know-it-all”.

I considering you all “experts” and not “know-it-alls!”

I’m not being sarcastic! I’m joking!

-laughs- It’s a thin line indeed. :stuck_out_tongue:
