For me auto-unlock has been very inconsistent so I setup the following script. It’s been helping with auto-unlock for me so far.
Basically I installed an automation app and setup a script that makes my phone update its location whenever I connect or disconnect from my home wifi.
This is what I did for my android phone:

Download/install the app Automate

Create a new flow and set it up like this screenshot:

Hit start on your new flow and hopefully benefit from better auto-unlock
