I discovered about one year ago that I can plug my Base Station ethernet cord into the back of my computer to connect all my Wyze devices.
Even thought the Wifi router is in another apartment I have no access to.
Been working perfectly,
Has anyone else used this technique?

Probably? You could also just use a cheap WiFi extender or your own router in client mode to accomplish the same thing. It would draw less power than leaving a desktop PC on all the time.
