When I commanded the wyze door lock to lock how do I know it locked without physically checking it

I guess after you’ve locked it successfully x amount of times you either believe or you don’t. Just like my smart garage door. How do I know it actually went down? At some point there has to be a level of trust. I don’t know of a way of guaranteeing you. Any smart device you would put on the door to double verify wouldn’t prove it’s locked just closed and every smart device has a chance to send false positive. Sorry I don’t have a better option.
Only thing you could do is focus a cam on the deadbolt latch. Know what position is locked and if it isn’t in that position it’s not locked. I will say mine has been 100% correct reporting it’s state of locked or unlocked. It’s never misreported. I just had issues with Auto Unlock.
