Handheld Vacuum has a loud, high pitched whine

Is it normal for the Handheld Vacuum to have such a loud whine?

Hi Joe and Welcome.

It is a little loud from my view point, the small motor gives it that high pitch sound.

You can cycle the speeds which dampens it a little but still pretty high pitched, but aside from it being loud, a great device so far from my use

Got my WYZE Handheld Vac Today - The Saga

Day 1 I know not a “smart” device… but this was the pre-order I have been the most excited to get as of late. I have had my handheld for about 2 months and have used it at several speeds. Only recently did it start making the loud high pitched whine at all speeds. It is horrible. I really liked this vacuum compared to my two similar Dyson handhelds, but this whine is unbearable. I’ve taken it apart and put it back together several times and cleaned everything to no avail. Same whine.
