Fastest option for a replacement scale?

So I received my scale yesterday, was in the middle of setting it up, then realizes that what I thought was a protective film I glanced at when I flipped it over to add batteries was actually a chunk of glass missing, with little glass pieces now all over the bed I was working on.

I’ve tried submitting a ticket, but with the long delay in response time they seem to have lately, along with all the press the scale is getting, I’m wondering if they might run out before a replacement could be arranged. Is there a faster option for replacing a damaged-on-delivery item than waiting for customer service? It seems like new orders are able to be handled faster than waiting for service recently.
