Looks like heat and cold is reversed. I followed the wiring instructions perfectly. Looks like the only test that works is heating stage 2 - which I think is the heat strip. Anyways - Found an article that says there is a 'switch heat/cool" toggle switch in the settings. Can’t find such toggle switch.
