Doorbell whining/humming

Hello,

I just received my Wyze Doorbell pro and am in the process of setting it up. The weather is bad and unable to install today so in the meantime I decided I would charge the unit so it good to when I do install it. Well it’s charging and I am hearing this whine or humming noise coming from it, is this normal? Thanks.

I’ve not heard mine whine when I recharged indoors, so I’d give Support a call:

Did you try a different Micro USB cable and/or AC adaptor to see if the whine persists? Could be a result of the charging components?

I used the micro USB cable that came with the doorbell.

It could be the amerage on the charger base is throttling the amp load in some way.
