Doorbell Issues with Wyze App

How do I keep motion detection on for event recording on Video Doorbell? I have to turn it on every time I open the Wyze app.

Are you letting the app connect to the camera before going into settings? Open camera, wait for it to connect fully and show a live view, then click settings.
Sometimess if you go into a cameras settings before a connection is made, the settings don’t populate correctly and it’ll appear as if the settings are wrong.

I see this issue as well. When “first” opening the App and selecting Doorbell (and seeing a live feed), nav to Event Recording the Motion Selection slider is always off. Similar nav to other v2 camera always show Motion on. I have to return to previous panels then return to eventually see the slider on. Actual motion detect does work but its just bit confusing seeing the slider off.
