Doorbell - external microphone issues

I have the same issue, did you have any feedback from Wyze?

@dsahe Not really… Having different issues with the Doorbell Pro. It is much better in camera and sound/microphone though. Much clearer. I can say that much.

Person / Package detection works just fine. Notifications work just fine. videos are being captured just fine.

Person Detection Triggers/Rules & Friendly Face detection are not working …

Did you ever found a fix for the noise?

No, I just keep it muted. I never use audio anyway.

Continuing the discussion from Doorbell - external microphone issues:

I too am having the same issue. With my limited knowledge of electronics, it seems to be interference from the electrical power supply. The old school doorbells used a momentary switch to activate the ding donger. No high tech there. Now add an advanced camera system with audio and walla, noise. My thought is to use a filter, like a ferrite filter on the power cable that runs to the doorbell. I know they also sell filters that go between the ac power outlet and the device. As soon as I locate either of these,I will test it and report back. Logically it seems to me the engineers would have installed some type of noise cancellation circuitry to prevent this issue. A software update would not correct this issue imho.
