Does Wyze research user failed cameras to determine what failed and how to fix?

I have two cameras that have failed in the last several months. Does Wyze want me to send these cameras so they can research why they failed, so they can improve the next version? I will be happy to send my two (dead) failed cameras with not strings attached. I would like them to improve future products.

Wyze doesn’t seem to be interested in getting back defective cameras.

Instead, the cameras connect to the factory on boot-up :grin:

Actually, I’ve seen them request the cameras back, especially if there was an unusual issue or a safety issue.

I’m not sure if they’d want yours back or not, @maronstein, but if they’re less than a year old, they’ll probably send you a free replacement under the warranty.
