I’m looking at buying a lamp-socket. I already have a v3 and love it.
The product page says that the lamp-socket allows the light to turn on if there is noise or motion. Does this require Internet/cloud processing, or is this done locally in the lamp-socket or between the lamp-socket and camera?
this is done through the camera. the camera basically controls the socket and either by rules you set up or through your manual control can be manipulated. it is essentially a “dumb” device that becomes smart through am umbilical.
