Cool but aren’t they already waterproof outdoor cameras.

Some people like the covers that come in different colors. The camera dos look nice without them too!
I know that they are waterproof. I wanted a little more protection from the upcoming cold temperatures and snow.

I am in Canada, Atlantic coast, and have had two V2 and a Pan camera outside for 2 winters.
The V2s have plastic cases mainly to allow them to be fastened to a wall. The Pan is naked but upside down under a soffit set 24" back from the edge. No reliability problems at all.
I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
