Cannot turn off blue LED on Wyze Sense

I was very happy that I can turn the bright blue led off on the camera. Unfortunately, I just reintroduced another bright blue light via the Wyze Sense piggyback.
Any way to turn this led off, too?

A piece of opaque tape or other non-transparent material is the only way to dim this LED. I use a narrow strip of blue painter’s tape which lets just enough of the blue light bounce off the wall behind my Cam Pan.
