A friend bought a Wyze v2 here in the USA to use in the UK but says he can’t download the app in the UK on his UK phone. I’m not sure of the phone type. He also has an iPad but not sure if he’s tried on it. Is there a restriction on downloading the Wyze app by geographical location?
Any suggestions?
If it’s an Apple device, it does not surprise me that the app may not be available in the non-US iOS App Store, since the cameras are not intended to be sold outside the US.
I’ll check with him. Any suggestions to download in the UK if it is an iPhone?
Perhaps spoof a US IP with a VPN service?
