Pop-up cameras? What a neat idea! Actually, I wouldn’t think the wiring to the valves would go all the way to the sprinkler head. Don’t they put all the valves in a central location near the water source?
Yes, there are normally solenoid actuated valves in a central box.
Correct, and the heads pop up due to water pressure. Not something you probably want to expose the camera to.
Most sprinkler systems run on 24VAC. You would need a 24V AC to 5V DC converter, then wire it up to a USB socket.

As mentioned above, this would only get you to the valve box, not the actual heads. And you’d need to be concerned about waterproofing everything.
