Can I use a Cat 6 ethernet cable for my base station?

I have not been able to set up my base station to my network and want to find out what type of ethernet cable do I need to use to be wired direct?

Any will do. I use a little short cat6 jumper because my base is right near my switch. You can also use the included to set it up, then switch it to wifi after setup, then place the base whenever within your main wifi range.

I just bought 2- outdoor cam starter kits and 2 additional cams. Whenever I get out of range from my one base station at the house moving towards my garage area I lose signal. I was going to use the other base station positioned in my house closer to the garage. I tried connecting to wifi but, was not able to connect.
