If I schedule my Pan Cam to reboot daily will it eventually damage the device?

I’ve daily rebooted my pan once a day regularly since the start of November. No issues thus far. But I use mine as a glorified v2. I don’t use pan scan or manually use the PT functions (ok maybe once a month at most), it just stares off in one direction.

Look at how often Windows users have to reboot their machine.
General Motors was considering Microsoft to write the operating system for the new Corvette, but backed out when the test vehicle stalled on the track, and the only way to get it running again was to roll the windows down and roll them back up.
