I am reading the specks but I can’t tell if I need to order the motion detector with the bridge or if I can set up the plug to turn on when the camera motion detector is activated.
Just checked in the Wyze App, with shortcut/rule you can use camera motion detection to turn on a plug.

Personally, I think that since there isn’t an actual motion sensor in the camera, it would be subject to frequent false triggers. I know video events certainly are which is why I use the Wyze Sense motion sensor to control lights and plugs.

I agree. The motion sensor would be more practical for turning on the Wyze plug. It would be hard to control which motion/sound event you would want to turn the plug on using the camera. The plug would be turned as soon as the camera detected motion.
