Setting this cam up was a struggle. Had done 13 previously and they were a snap. This one took an hour of fiddling around. Would not see the QR code. Got it finally tho. Check out it’s first image. Crazy, huh?
Hello @timstik, from the image it looks like the room was a little dark that could have played a factor in the QR setup not working properly.
Oh trust me. I set up over a dozen cams before. This cam in question was one of two that I set up recently. The first set up immediately. The second dud was attempted to be set up in numerous locations at different times during the last two days. Just checked it. Still doesn’t work.
Tell me what’s happing when you try the setup process with this second camera?
This is as far as it gets with this one cam. Probably the closest to the router. Signal strength between 80-100%. Two other cams on this network function as expected.
That’s an odd one. I would try normal steps by resetting it and flashing the firmware.
Can you define those two steps? I know how to do a standard set up only. Thank you.

Thank you very kindly for the info. Tried everything as described. Never could get a solid blue light. Returned, replaced and the new one set up flawlessly.
