I have a class 10 32g card - and two different machines (and after I’ve formatted it to spec) it appears that it “fills up” and then locks up the camera. It doesn’t appear to start overwriting old files. If I remove it, the camera returns to normal performance. The card performs fine in typical computer use. The image shows the status of the card after being in a Cam for maybe 48 hours. It then locked up the Cam. I assume I’m doing something wrong, but can’t figure it out.
Hello. @petercw2 Welcome to the community. What brand of card is in the camera?
patriot, I believe.
I know this issue has been brought up before in another thread as well. Different brand cards seem to behave differently in the cams. I actually bought the Wyze Micro SD cards with mine, and I haven’t had any problems with them not looping. I didn’t have to format the Wyze cards which saved me the headache.
give this a read and maybe even add to it with your experience with those cards so other know.
I have used these in all my cams and laptops with no (card related) issues. Come formatted but I usually format them in PC just in case - stinks to have to climb a ladder to pull a card! Good luck!
