Black tape on IR lights not working!

The black tape on the IR lights was a temporary fix. The adhesive is now getting onto the lens with warmer weather upon us. The tape is also sliding over the lens with the heat of the cam. We have had to reposition the tape and clean the lenses on several cameras as a result of this and it starts to blur and obstruct the cameras view.
