I’ve got a strange problem getting the latest beta firmware on my three cameras at the office. I only get the prompt to update them during the weekend, not during the week. During the week, a manual update tells me that “Your Firmware is up to date!” and “Installed Version: 4.9.3.58”. I was able to update my V2 camera at home to get to 4.9.3.60. I always seem to get the beta update prompt after I leave the office on Friday, and all through the weekend. Since I’ve bricked a unit in the past with a F/W update, I hesitate to update them when I’m not there. So, can the beta F/W only be updated during the weekend?
Could be a firewall issue at the work network.
