Battery change for Sense

My sensor battery was totally drained prior to changing and the device would not pair with the bridge after replacing it with a 1632 battery. I had to delete the device from the app and go through the add a device steps again in order for the sensor to pair with the bridge again. BTW the Wyze motion sensor uses battery 2450 different from the open/close sensors. I see that a new version of Wyze sense is in the works so this tip is for devices prior 11/2020. Hope this helps someone:-)

If your or anyone’s sensors are not connecting after replacing a drained battery, you may want to contact Wyze Customer Support about this issue!
By phone: (206) 339-9646 Available Monday - Friday 5 am - 6 pm PT and Saturday 8 am - 4 pm PT
Or online: Wyze.com/support (click “submit a request”)
phone support is typically faster however this isn’t always true due to fluctuation in the amount of calls.
