I’m running two V2 cams and two wireless outdoor cameras connected to a base station only a few feet from a WAP.
Every few days or so, the base station seems to lose connection until I physically unplug and power cycle it. No other devices in the house are presenting any similar issues. The devices simply show as ‘Offline’ in the app.
I’m using a mesh network but nothing else out of the ordinary. Simple DHCP. It works fine otherwise. I unfortunately can’t use a wired connection as it would move the base station too far from the cameras.
Any ideas? I’m thinking it may be a DHCP thing as the renew time on an address is about 3 days. Has anyone had issues like this? Maybe I could assign it a static IP and see if that helps.
