App Broke My S8 Bluetooth Stack



The Wyze app seems to have broken part of my S8’s Bluetooth stack. Everything worked fine prior to installing the Wyze app on my Galaxy S8, after installation - not good. It is paired to a Subaru factory installed BT setup. With the app installed, all audio is gone. The BT shows it paired on the phone and on the car display. I deleted everything from the car & the phone, and I uninstalled the app. I reinstalled the phone to the car and I have restored BT audio for music, but the phone still has no audio output in BT mode. Looks like I’m going to have to do a Hard Reset on the phone to get is up and running.

Anyone else have issues like this?
