I’ve been testing the new HMS and was wondering if anyone has some “best practices” for configuring it. I’m most interested in ideas regarding Home and Away mode.
For example, with Home mode do you really want any kind of delays for entry or departure? I would think, if you are home, you may want immediate activation. I could see having a delay for your primary entrance (which I know isn’t possible currently) but everything else should trigger immediately.
For Away mode I would see adding motion sensors and any other interior sensors not included in Home mode all with a reasonable entry and departure delay to prevent triggering the system when you leave or return.
Just interested in other perspectives.
