i used double tape for the sensor and it fell on ground then my car run over
That’s no fun 
that’s one thing I like about the ST sensor. On the garage we used just half of the multipurpose sensor and set to garage door mode, mounted in the middle of the door so when it falls off we are less likely to crush it. The 3D printing mount is pretty slick though. I’m keeping the ST sensors up for now and using these. We will see what happens in triple digit weather this summer.
If you are using these in really hot/cold areas you can print in PETG or ABS. I prefer PETG between the two of them.
